The 6th Eric Ericson Masterclass 2011
The 6th Eric Ericson Masterclass 2011 in Haarlem in The Netherlands will be an intensive 8-day course for talented young choral conductors, given by 2 masters of conducting and in collaboration with 2 leading professional choirs.
The 5 previous masterclasses were scintillating, inspiring and impressive. We are therefore very pleased to be able to announce the next Eric Ericson Masterclass.
Mr. Ericson gave his name to the masterclass and is its patron, but will not himself be participating.
Between 24 June and 1 July 2011 8 conductors will be given the chance to benefit from the knowledge and experience of Jos van Veldhoven (NL) and Michael Gläser (D), 2 conductors who operate at the highest level.
The masterclass is also open to observers, between 27 June and 1 July. They will be required to apply to attend.
Sections of the masterclass are open to the public.
