Objectives of the Friends of the Great Broadcasting Choir Foundation

The aim of the Friends Foundation of the Groot Omroepkoor is to support the choir in particular and to promote choral singing in the Netherlands in general.
We do this by binding people to the choir as friends and thereby increasing interest and appreciation for the artistic achievements of the choir. We contribute to the carrying capacity of the choir by supporting it financially and in other ways.

Remuneration policy

Board members are not remunerated for their work. They are, however, entitled to reimbursement of expenses reasonably incurred by them in the performance of their duties.

Activities to be organized

• attending rehearsals of choir (including with children and grandchildren)
• workshops for amateur choir members
• lectures around concerts
• discounted music or concert purchases
• drawing attention to concerts in the neighborhood through zip code emails
• advance notice of concerts with priority tickets
