In recent years, the Film Music Evening has become the most popular film music event of the year. During the evening, the most famous film hits are played and the greatest composers are honoured by the Metropole Orchestra and the Groot Omroepkoor.

From classics such as Star Wars, Gladiator and Schindler's List, as well as music from more recent hits such as Intouchables, A Star Is Born and Pirates of the Caribbean. Together with great film composers and musical guests, we celebrate the very best film music by greats such as John Williams, James Horner and Hans Zimmer.
The Film Music Evening will be organised for the seventh time on 19 & 20 November. After the success in the Ziggo Dome, this grand location was chosen for the next edition.
