In 2016, the first Great Sing Along Concert took place. An idea of the Groot Omroepkoor to let enthusiastic singers participate in a professional choral performance, including workshops and rehearsals. From all over the country (overwhelmingly) choral singers applied. Interest has not waned since. Subsequent editions have included work with the Groot Omroepkoor, vocal soloists from the choir and the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra on Requiem compositions by Mozart, Verdi and Brahms, among others, and - in the summer of 2019 - on a sizzling opera spectacle.

On Saturday, February 17, 2024, the 6th Great Singing Concert will take place in TivoliVredenburg. On the program, by popular demand, the beautiful Ein deutsches Requiem by Johannes Brahms.

It is also possible to attend the Meezingconcert as a listener. Tickets for listeners can be bought through the TivoliVredenburg website.
